Parent Coaching, ADHD & Anxiety
Parenting a child of any age with ADHD and Anxiety is overwhelming.
Service Description
When your child of ANY age is diagnosed with ADHD, executive function challenges, anxiety, or another twice-exceptional (2e) profile, you may receive reading material, general advice, or medication—but little practical guidance for everyday family life. These challenges affect much more than attention, impulsivity, or hyperactivity. Children of all ages may struggle with emotional regulation, motivation, planning, follow-through, decision-making, relationships, or age-appropriate independence. Meanwhile, you may find yourself reminding, rescuing, worrying, or arguing more than you want to. Whether you’re managing daily meltdowns with a younger child, watching your teen pull away, or wondering how to support a young adult who is struggling to move forward, it can be difficult to know when to step in, when to step back, and what will actually help. Parent coaching can help you change the pattern. I support parents of children, teens, and young adults with ADHD, anxiety, executive function challenges, and other 2e needs. Together, we look beneath the behavior to understand how your child’s brain and nervous system affect their emotions, choices, communication, and ability to follow through. You’ll learn practical ways to: Communicate without escalating conflict Set clear, age-appropriate boundaries Reduce nagging, reminding, and rescuing Respond to emotional overwhelm more effectively Support responsibility and growing independence Encourage resilience, accountability, and confidence Build a more connected and peaceful family relationship There is no one-size-fits-all approach to parenting. I’ll help you develop strategies that fit your child, your family,
